Matyar Children’s Educational Visit to the Fire Station

As part of its mission to promote safety awareness and life skills among children, Matyar Children’s Center organized an exciting educational trip to the local fire station. During this visit, the children had the opportunity to explore the work environment of firefighters and learn about their safety equipment and fire trucks up close.

Throughout the program, the firefighters provided simple, child-friendly explanations about fire prevention, how to call emergency services, and what to do when seeing smoke or fire. The children participated enthusiastically, asking curious questions and engaging in meaningful discussions, turning the visit into a memorable and educational experience.

The main goals of this activity were to enhance responsibility, build self-confidence, and offer practical understanding of safety and helping others. Experiencing the firefighting environment firsthand not only supports children’s cognitive and social development but also teaches them that bravery, teamwork, and caring for others are essential life values.

At the end of the visit, the children happily received small souvenirs from the firefighters and returned home filled with excitement, knowledge, and inspiration.
