Matyar Solaleh Educational Curriculum

Solaleh Educational & Cultural Institute has always aimed to create an educational and developmental movement within Iranian society. In 2011, with the dedication and support of our teachers and educators, the first Solaleh Educational Curriculum was drafted. Since then, the document has been continuously reviewed and redesigned each year through the efforts, research, and studies of our educational teams, experts, and consultants.
This curriculum is developed in alignment with the official guidelines of the Ministry of Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while also drawing inspiration from leading international education systems and incorporating the latest studies and findings across various fields.
Our hope is to continually enhance and enrich this curriculum by addressing its shortcomings through new experiences and insights.
The Solaleh Educational Curriculum serves as a framework, foundation, and guiding standard in the design of educational and developmental programs, in evaluating the performance of children, teachers, and educators, and in shaping the overall direction and vision of the Solaleh community.
Parent Education
One of the most important initiatives at Solaleh Matyar is the structured education of parents. Why do we emphasize parent education? Because when parents lack alignment with our knowledge, skills, and perspective, it becomes difficult to fully advance our educational pathways. Children naturally notice when their family and their school are moving in different directions.
To bridge this gap and create deeper impact, Solaleh Matyar provides a variety of parent-focused programs, including:
- Ongoing knowledge-building workshops (held every term, approximately every three months)
- Annual Solaleh Mothers Conference
- Weekly book-reading circles
- Interactive Q&A sessions for parents
These programs ensure that families walk alongside us in the educational journey. Learning becomes a two-way interaction between our institute and the parents. From the very beginning of each term, we hold an introductory meeting with the management team, followed by ongoing sessions with teachers and group supervisors. Together, we review progress, evaluate children’s behavioral signs, and ensure consistent alignment between families and Solaleh Matyar.

Teacher Training
At Solaleh Matyar, we have implemented a comprehensive and structured teacher training program from the very beginning. These courses are designed in three main areas: enhancing teachers’ skills, expanding their knowledge, and developing professional attitudes.
We start by examining the teacher’s mindset regarding their chosen profession, followed by in-depth sessions on the purpose of teaching, the mission, goals, and the path ahead.
- In the knowledge component, teachers are trained in various fields, including:
- Children’s developmental stages (cognitive, physical, and emotional)
- Communication skills
- Empathy and social-emotional understanding
- In the skills component, through role-playing and practical workshops, teachers develop abilities such as:
- Designing creative lesson plans for different age groups
- Playing and interacting effectively with children
- Verbal communication with children
- Problem-solving and other essential classroom skills
These programs ensure that our educators are fully prepared to provide high-quality, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for every child.

Child Education
At Solaleh Matyar, our educational approach is an integrated method we call Authentic Education, which is Solaleh-centered and developed based on global educational frameworks. This approach defines and implements core values and behavioral models, rooted in a human-centered and culturally adapted perspective.
A key principle in our child education program is child-centered learning. Most activities are designed around children’s interests and preferences, with the majority of teaching models delivered through play-based methods. Direct instruction is minimized wherever possible, except in Preschool 2, where children become more rule-oriented and receive structured, direct learning experiences.
